Offer Description and Conditions: The 80,000 Bonus Scene+ Points Offer (the “Offer”) applies only to new Scotiabank Passport® Visa Infinite Privilege* credit card accounts (“Account”) opened between January 27, 2025 and October 31, 2025 and is subject to the conditions below. To qualify for 30,000 bonus Scene+ points (the “30,000 Point Bonus”), you must have at least $3,000 in eligible purchases posted to your new Account in the first 3 months of the Account open date. To qualify for an additional 30,000 bonus Scene+ points (the “Additional 30,000 Point Bonus”), you must have at least $20,000 in eligible purchases posted to your new Account in the first 6 months of the Account open date. To qualify for an additional 20,000 bonus Scene+ points (the “Additional 20,000 Point Bonus”), you must make at least one eligible purchase that is posted to your new Account during the 14th month after the month the Account was opened. Eligible purchases include purchases (less any refunds, returns or other similar credits) but do not include payments, cash advances (including balance transfers or cash-like transactions), interest, fees or other charges.
The applicable point Bonus(es) will be credited to the Scene+ account within approximately 8 weeks after qualifying for a Bonus, provided the Account is open and in good standing. For Joint Accounts with a Primary Borrower and Co-borrower, the applicable point Bonus will be credited as follows: (i) the 30,000 Point Bonus and Additional 30,000 Point Bonus will be credited to the Scene+ account linked to the Account of the borrower that completed the last transaction to meet the qualifying amount of eligible purchases (i.e., $3,000 or $20,000) in the appropriate time frame (i.e., first 3 months or first 6 months), and (ii) the Additional 20,000 Point Bonus will be credited to the Scene+ account linked to the Account of the borrower that completed the first transaction that qualifies as an eligible purchase during the 14th month after the month the Account was opened. If a supplementary cardholder completes the last qualifying transaction to meet the qualifying amount of eligible purchases for the 30,000 Point Bonus or the Additional 30,000 Point Bonus, or completes the first transaction that qualifies for the Additional 20,000 Point Bonus, the applicable point Bonus will be credited to the Primary Borrower’s Scene+ account linked to the Account. Points can be transferred between Primary and Co-Borrower or Supplementary Cardholder’s Scene+ accounts by contacting Scene+. The Account is considered in good standing if it is not past due or over limit and the Cardholder(s) is not in breach of the Revolving Credit Agreement that applies to the Account. All other terms and conditions of the Scene+ Program Terms continue to apply during the Offer period. Offer may be changed, cancelled or extended at any time without notice and cannot be combined with any other offers.
Eligibility and Exclusions: Individuals who are currently or were previously primary or secondary cardholders of a Scotiabank personal credit card in the past 2 years, including those that switch from an existing Scotiabank personal credit card, as well as employees of Scotiabank, are not eligible for the Offer. Subject to the above exclusions, Scotiabank small business credit cardholders are also eligible for the Offer.
Rates and Fees: The current annual fee is $599 for the primary card and $199 for each additional card (including those issued to co-borrowers and supplementary cardholders).
The current preferred annual interest rates for the Account are: 20.99% on purchases and 22.99% on cash advances (including balance transfers and cash-like transactions). All rates, fees, features and benefits are outlined in the Application Disclosure Statement and are subject to change.
Travel purchases made by the primary cardholder on a Scotiabank Passport Visa Infinite Privilege credit card account (the “Account”) will be eligible for a one-time, $250 CAD annual travel credit in each annual period of the Account (the “Annual Travel Credit”). The annual period (the “Annual Period”) starts from the Account open date or if a switch from an existing Scotiabank Visa credit card account then from effective switch date and resets every 12 months thereafter at anniversary open or switch date, as applicable. The Annual Travel Credit will be applied to the Account after the first purchase in that Annual Period of any flight, hotel, car rental, packages or things to do (also referred to as activities bookings) in a single transaction made only through Scene+ Travel, Powered by Expedia in the amount of $250 CAD (or more) (including taxes and excluding any Scene+ point redemptions) (an “Eligible Travel Purchase”). Eligible Travel Purchases exclude any returns, refunds or other similar credits. Eligible Travel Purchase must be posted in its entirety on the Account. Eligible Travel Purchase must be a single travel transaction made in one day (24 hour period) of $250 CAD or more (including taxes) (not a sum of transactions completed in one or more days) posted to the Account. The dollar value of any Scene redemption will be deducted from the amount of the Eligible Travel Purchase and must still equal to $250 CAD (or more) after such redemption. The amount of any insurance purchases (even if related to the Eligible Travel Purchase) do not qualify towards the amount ($250 CAD or more) of the Eligible Travel Purchase. In most cases, the Annual Travel Credit should be credited to the Account approximately on the next statement period after the Eligible Travel Purchase has been posted to the Account. The Annual Travel Credit will expire on the last day of each anniversary open or switch date (e.g. anniversary date is January 15th, 2025, it expires on January 14th, 2026) and cannot be carried forward. To receive the Annual Travel Credit the Account must be open, active and in good standing at time of credit to the Account. Good standing means the Account is not past due, overlimit and no cardholder on the Account is in breach of the agreement that applies to the Account (including the Revolving Credit Agreement). Embedded Insurances will apply to the ticket/purchase if the Annual Travel Credit is applied.
The Scene+ Travel website and call center are owned and operated by Expedia Group, a third-party travel service provider (the “Scene+ Travel Partner”). To earn or redeem Points, travel and things to do must be booked through the Scene+ Travel website or Scene+ Travel call centre. Prices are in Canadian dollars unless otherwise specified. Prices and points requirement are available on the website, and subject to change. The Scene+ Travel Partner may impose terms and conditions that supplement the ‘Additional Terms and Conditions for Scene+ Travel’ included in the Scene+ Program Terms and Conditions. Paying for your eligible Scene+ Travel purchase: Points may be redeemed for the entire amount of the things to do, flight, hotel or car rental booking purchases (including taxes and fees), or redeemed in part with the remaining balance paid by an available payment card.

ACCELERATED EARN RATES:
Travel Purchases: You are awarded three (3) Scene+ Points for every eligible $1.00 in travel purchases charged and posted to the Scotiabank Passport Visa Infinite Privilege credit card account (the “Account”). Travel purchases are those purchases identified further below under the “Merchant Classifications”.
Earning Scene+ Points on Scene Program Card
You may earn Scene+ Points on the total value of your purchase made using Scene+ Travel, including taxes and fees, whether it was made using Scene+ Points or a payment card (including a Program Card) or a combination of the two. Any Scene+ Points earned on a travel purchase using Scene+ Travel will be applied to your Scene+ Account within 6 weeks after you have completed your itinerary.
• Hotels: 3 Scene+ Points per $1 spent;
• Car Rental: 3 Scene+ Points per $1 spent
• Things to Do: 3 Scene+ Points per $1 spent
The earn rates on Scene+ Travel may be changed.
Dining and Entertainment Purchases: You are awarded two (2) Scene+ Points for every eligible $1.00 purchase on all dining and entertainment purchases charged and posted to the Account (the earn rates for each of the categories are referred to as the “Accelerated Earn Rates”).
Regular Earn Rate: You are awarded one (1) Scene+ Point for every $1.00 in all other purchases of goods and services charged to the Account (the “Regular Earn Rate”).
Merchant Classifications: You will earn the Accelerated Earn Rates on purchases made on your account at merchants classified in the Visa credit card network with a Merchant Category Code (“MCC”) in the “Travel” category (the “travel purchases”) (including Airlines and Air Carriers, Car Rental Agencies, Lodging – Hotels, Motels, Resorts, Local and Suburban Commuter Passenger Transportation, including Ferries, Passenger Railways, Taxicabs and Limousines, Bus Lines, Steamship and Cruise Lines, Airlines and Air Carriers – Not Elsewhere Classified, Travel Agencies and Tour Operators, Tolls and Bridge Fees, Transportation Services – Not Elsewhere Classified, Lodging – Hotels, Motels, Resorts, Central Reservation Services not elsewhere classified, Timeshares, Trailer parks and Campgrounds, Automobile Rental Agency and Motel Home and Recreational Vehicle Rentals ); or in the “Dining” category (“Dining Purchases”) (including Eating Places and Restaurants, Drinking Places and Fast Food Restaurants); or in the “Entertainment” category (the “Entertainment Purchases”) (including Motion Picture Theatres, Ticket Agencies and Theatrical Producers, Ticket Agencies, Bands, Orchestras, Miscellaneous Entertainers - Not Elsewhere Classified, Tourist Attractions and Exhibits, Aquariums, Seaquariums, Dolphinariums, and Zoos categories). MCC are set by the Visa credit card network associated with your Account and must be recognized by Scotiabank’s system as set out in the Scene+ Program terms and conditions. MCC are subject to change.
Purchases at merchants where these categories are not their primary business do not qualify. Some merchants may sell other products/services or are separate merchants who are located on the premises of these merchants, but are classified by the credit card network in another manner that may not be classified with an MCC under the Accelerated Earn Rate categories of Travel, Dining and Entertainment and such purchases will not earn the Accelerated Earn Rates on the Account as applicable.
Eligibility: Only purchases earn Scene+ Points. Cash advances (including Balance Transfers, and Cash-Like Transactions), fees, interest or other charges, returns, refunds or other similar credits to your Account do not qualify for Scene+ Points. Scene+ Points will not be posted to an Account that is not in good standing when purchases are made or when a statement is issued, or if the Account is not open when a statement is issued. The Visa Luxury Hotel Collection (“us”, “we” or “VLHC”) guarantees the best publicly-available rates whenever an eligible Visa cardholder (“you”) books a hotel room through us, subject to terms and conditions (the “Best Rate Guarantee”).
If you find a lower room rate on another website, please submit your rate match request here. We will match a rate if all of the following occur:
1) Your submission is completed within 24 hours of making the original booking through us, and no later than 72 hours prior to original booking’s arrival date.
2) Your request for a rate-match specifies the lower rate and provides the exact link (URL) where we may confirm the lower rate.
3) Your rate match request is submitted in the same currency as your Visa Luxury Hotel Collection booking.
4) The lower rate for which you are requesting a match:
a) is at least USD 20 lower than the rate from your original Visa Luxury Hotel Collection booking.
b) is for the same hotel, has identical booking requirements (for example: room type, stay dates, length of stay, and number of guests) and has identical policies for payment and cancellation as your Visa Luxury Hotel Collection booking.
c) is available to the general public on a public-facing website, that does not require (1) registration (e.g., setting login credentials or a password), (2) paid membership or use based upon predefined user characteristics (e.g., rates intended only for employees of a particular company, members of a particular association, members of a reward or loyalty program, corporate/group rates, or military or government rates), (3) you to provide a coupon or promotional code, (4) you to contact the hotel or an agency directly.
d) does not have a “minimum night-stay” requirement, even if such requirement is met by your original Visa Luxury Hotel Collection booking.
e) is not a rate or special offer offered exclusively by booking directly with the hotel.
f) is not a pre-paid, non-cancellable, and/or non-refundable rate.
g) is not available on auction or flash sale websites like, but not limited to, Priceline or Hotwire.
h) is not a packaged rates that include the room with other travel and/or entertainment goods and services such as (but not limited to) airline tickets, car rentals, or show tickets.
We will review your request for a rate-match and respond within 48 hours.
If your rate match is approved, we will either adjust the nightly rate or a credit for the rate difference will be applied to your hotel folio at check out. We do not provide cash-backs, gift cards or reimbursements in any form directly to you.
By booking a hotel through us, you agree that (1) the Visa Luxury Hotel Collection decides, at its sole discretion, whether a rate is valid and meets the terms and conditions of the Best Rate Guarantee and (2) the Visa Luxury Hotel Collection’s decisions are final.

Privé Course Access
Canadian issued Visa Infinite Privilege Cardholders are invited to reserve tee times at participating Troon Privé private clubs at a rate of $99 USD (+ Tax where applicable, and subject to change) per player per round. Cardholders may bring up to three guests at the same rate on each tee time they make and may play each Troon Privé course up to two times per calendar year. Elevated Troon Rewards Status
Canadian-issued Visa Infinite Privilege credit Cardholders are entitled to receive complimentary Platinum Status in the Troon Rewards program upon enrollment into Troon Rewards via the Visa Infinite Privilege Troon website. At the Platinum membership level, the Cardholder will be entitled to a 20% discount respectively on golf fees reserved on the Visa Infinite Privilege Troon website, merchandise purchases made at the golf properties, or on golf instruction at participating Troon Golf Academy locations when using their Visa Infinite Privilege credit card.
From 07/10/2024 through 06/30/2026 (“Benefit Term”), the Visa Dining Collection OpenTable Benefit (as defined below) is available to cardholders (individually, “you” or “your”) with eligible U.S. issued Visa Infinite® cards, Mexico issued Visa Infinite® cards or Canada issued Visa Infinite Privilege® cards (“Eligible Visa Cards”). Cardholders with Eligible Visa Cards must (1) visit OpenTable.com or open the OpenTable mobile app; (2) sign in to an existing OpenTable account or sign up for a free OpenTable account; (3) complete the eligibility check to verify their Eligible Visa Card; and (4) add their Eligible Visa Card to their OpenTable account to redeem the Visa Dining Collection OpenTable Benefit. The Visa Dining Collection OpenTable Benefit includes exclusive access to primetime reservations at participating restaurants in select cities (“Participating Restaurants”) offered by OpenTable through the OpenTable platform which includes, without limitation, OpenTable’s website, mobile app, and the Benefit page during the Benefit Term (“Visa Dining Collection OpenTable Benefit” or “Benefit”). Participating Restaurant inventory that is not booked prior to reservation day/time may be released to general OpenTable inventory.
Certain Participating Restaurants may require credit card information to make a reservation and/or pre-pay for all or a portion of the dining experience. In such instances, the Eligible Visa Card stored in your OpenTable account must be used. If an Eligible Visa Card is no longer stored in your OpenTable account, you may be required to successfully complete an additional eligibility verification of an Eligible Visa Card. If your card is ineligible at the time of the eligibility check, OpenTable may store your card in your account for future eligibility purposes and for general use on the OpenTable platform, subject to the OpenTable Terms of Use and OpenTable Privacy Policy. OpenTable will conduct an eligibility check immediately upon card verification, followed by a subsequent eligibility check once every 24 hours when the user visits OpenTable properties. If your previously ineligible card becomes eligible, OpenTable will grant you access to the Visa Dining Collection OpenTable Benefit and notify you of such. You must go through the verification flow to receive eligibility status notification. OpenTable and Visa shall have no further responsibility for your dining experience, including your experience at a Participating Restaurant.
The Benefit is subject to modification or cancellation without notice, and to the extent permissible under applicable law, OpenTable may update or amend these terms from time to time at its discretion. The Benefit is subject to all applicable federal, state, provincial, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited. Cardholders with Eligible Visa Cards are also subject to the OpenTable Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. OpenTable shall not be obligated to honor the Benefit for any cardholder that is unable to validate their card’s eligibility or violates OpenTable policies.
Points for Credit: You can use your Scene+ Points for a credit on participating Scotiabank debit card and credit card accounts that earn Scene+ Points (the “Eligible Scotiabank Scene+ Card Accounts”). Once the request to redeem Points for Credit has been submitted, you cannot cancel the request and no changes can be made. It may take up to 2-3 business days, following a request to redeem Points for Credit, for the credit to appear on the eligible Scotiabank Scene+ debit card account, and up to 5 business days for the credit to appear on the eligible Scotiabank Scene+ credit card account. Your Eligible Scotiabank Scene+ Card Account must be open at the time the credit is applied to the account to receive any Points for Credit.
For credit cards: Points for Credit redemptions will be applied towards the balance of the credit card account, and not towards a particular transaction. Please note that even if you redeem for Points for Credit you are still responsible for making any monthly minimum payment applicable to your eligible Scotiabank Scene+ credit card account by your payment due date.

Scene+ points may be earned and redeemed on food and drink (excluding alcoholic beverages) at Cineplex® theatres including concessions, Outtakes®, YoYo’s Yogurt Café®, Pizza Pizza®, Poptopia®, Starbucks®, Cineplex VIP™ Lounges and in-seat dining. The Rec Room
Scene+ members can redeem Scene+ points in multiples of 1,000 points per ten-dollar ($10.00) discount off the net purchase price (excluding taxes, alcohol, and gratuity), shown on the receipt at The Rec Room locations, to a maximum of 35,000 Scene+ points ($350.00) per cheque. By way of example only, if your net purchase price is $104.59, you will be able to redeem ten thousand (10,000) Scene+ points, for a $100.00 reduction in your bill.
Scene+ members can redeem 100 points for $1.00 towards the purchase of admission tickets, applicable taxes, and fees.
Playdium
Members can redeem SCENE Points in multiple of 500 Points per five-dollar ($5.00) discount off the net purchase price (excluding taxes, alcohol, and gratuity), shown on the receipt at select Playdium locations, to a maximum of 35,000 SCENE Points ($350.00) per bill. By way of example only, if your net purchase is $104.59, you will be able to redeem ten thousand (10,000) SCENE Points, for a $100.00 reduction in your bill.
Scene+ members are able to redeem 1,000 Scene+ Points as a $10.00 reduction in the total purchase, including taxes, at HH Retail Channels to a maximum of $500 per redemption transaction. Scene+ members must present (scan, swipe, key-in) their Scene+ membership card, temporary Scene+ card or mobile card, at time of payment in order to earn or redeem Scene+ points. Only one (1) Scene+ membership card per transaction permitted.
